The LPGA is in Ohio for the Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic at Highland Meadows Golf Club.  Paula Creamer is the defending champion but has struggled with injuries this season, most recently last week.  Creamer withdrew from the Wegmans LPGA with a thumb injury and is set to go this week after consulting with her doctors.  She will have to face the world’s best in Lorena Ochoa and a field packed with nineteen of the top 20 golfers in the world, thanks in part to it being the lead into next week’s U. S. Open.
