Yang leads Chevron World Challenge

chevron-world-challenge-tiger-woodsY. E. Yang shot 65 in the second round of the Chevron World Challenge to take a two shot lead over Padraig Harrington, Kenny Perry and Ian Poulter heading into the weekend.

The tournament, which benefits the Tiger Woods Foundation, has been overshadowed by the news of Tiger Woods’ car accident and confessed  “indescressions.”  But, the all-star field is not disappointing with eight of the 18 players within five shots of the lead heading into the weekend.

Zach Johnson, the co-leader with Poulter at the start of the second round, is tied for fifth place at six-under par with Lee Westwood and Sean O’Hair.  Graeme McDowell is in eighth place at four-under par, with Lucas Glover adn Jim Furyk a shot behind in ninth.
