Lorena Ochoa is back in Alabama for the Navistar LPGA Classic, where she defeated Cristie Kerr and Candie Kung in a sudden-death playoff.
Ochoa will battle against a strong field that features current front runner for both Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year honors Jiyai Shin, Suzann Pettersen, Yani Tseng and Cristie Kerr. Also scheduled to play this week are Michelle Wie, Natalie Gulbis and Helen Alfredsson.
Part of the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, Capitol Hill’s Senator Course is a traditional Scottish-style layout, featuring 150 pot bunkers, will challenge players all week.
