Tom Watson continues to relive 1977 as he leads the Open Championship at Turnberry heading into the final round. Watson would make two more bogeys at the 12th and 15th holes before rebounding with consecutive birdies on the 16th and 17th holes.
Goggin shot 69 in the second round to move up to second place. Fisher shot 70 to tie Goggin at three-under par for the tournament. Another Englishman looking to win his country’s major is Lee Westwood, who is tied for fourth place at two-under par. Retief Goosen is tied with Westwood in fourth place.

Masters champion Angel Cabrera is tied with Boo Weekley, Steve Marino and Richard S. Johnson at one-over par in 10th place.
