Katherine Hull finished the day with the lead after shooting 71 in the second round. She was bogey-free on the day with 17 pars and one birdie on the 15th hole.
Finishing one shot behind Hull, Angela Stanford shot 67 in the second round with six birdies and a bogey. Tied for third were Paula Creamer, Christina Kim and In-Kyung Kim.
The quest for the $1 million winner’s check starts new in the third round. Scores for the 16 players who made the cut are erased. After the third round, the top eight players continue on to a one round, winner take all finale on Sunday.
