Morgan Pressel climbed the leaderboard into the top spot after shooting 67 in the third round of the Kapalua LPGA Classic. She shares the lead with Carin Koch (68), Jee Young Lee (70) and Brittany Lang (71).
Pressel started her day with a birdie and made two others on the front nine. After consecutive bogeys on the ninth and 10th holes, she made birdie on the 11th, an eagle the 15th and birdied the 17th hole.
Koch made was two-under par after nine holes, with birdies on the second and seventh holes. After a bogey on the 10th hole, Koch finished with three birdies over the final four holes.
Lee started her round with eight straight pars before making birdie on the ninth hole. She finished the day with two birdies and a bogey over the final four holes to grab a share of the lead.
Lang had a rough start to her round, carding two bogeys in the first three holes. She righted the ship, though, making two birdies on the front nine and one on the back to regain a share of the lead.
Suzann Pettersen shot 72, dropping into a tie for fifth place, and is one shot back of the leaders. She is tied with Sun Young Yoo, Il Mi Chung and Laura Diaz.
Lorena Ochoa fell back into a tie for 23rd after shooting a one-over, 73. She is at even par for the tournament, five shots back. Annika Sorenstam carded a one-under par, 71, and moved up to 31st place.
