Janice Moodie shot 67 in the second round of the Navistar LPGA Classic in Alabama and holds a one shot lead over Lorena Ochoa and Jill McGill heading into the weekend.
Moodie had a rocky start with two bogeys and a birdie in the first five holes but, she settled down and finished the final 10 holes with six birdies.
Ochoa started on the back nine and finished the side at one under. After a birdie on the first hole, her 10th, Ochoa finished with three more birdies for a second straight round of 67. McGill stayed near the top of the leaderboard with a second round 69. The co-leader after the first day carded four birdies and a bogey.
