Tiger Woods to have ACL surgery

Apparently, Woods tore ligaments in his knee at last years British Open. Woods also revealed that he is suffering from stress fractures in his left tibia that were diagnosed two weeks before the U. S. Open.
The news sheds light on how miraculous the Open victory was, one which Woods called his greatest win, up there with his first major. To put Woods’ season in perspective, he has won five of seven tournaments played worldwide. Going back to last years British Open, Woods has won nine of 12 events and did not finish lower than fifth.
