Ochoa will be tough to catch

She only has a one-shot lead but the world’s number one is playing with a little extra this week and will be tough to knock off that top spot at the McDonald’s LPGA Championship. She has said that she is dedicating this one for her uncle who passed away last week.

With one major title this year, and having won the last major in 2007, Ochoa looks to capture her third straight LPGA major championship. For a golfer that hasn’t seen much of losing this year, Ochoa looks like she will cruise to victory.

Don’t look to far down the leaderboard though as Annika Sorenstam is only a few shots out. The only thing with her is that she hasn’t player her best golf lately. If she comes out of her funk (which may have to do with the retirement news), can she catch Ochoa?
