Cink holds on to top spot at the Travelers Championship

Stewart Cink shot a third round 65 to hold on to the top spot at the Travelers Championship, using birdies on the final two holes to take a two-shot lead over Heath Slocum.

Cink started the day with three birdies over the first six holes.  After a bogey on the seventh, he made birdies on the ninth and 11th holes.  Making bogey on the 16th hole, Cink closed the day with birdies.  Slocum shot 64 in the third round to jump into second place.  He started the day with two birdies, carding eight total on the day.  He made bogeys on the fifth and seventh holes.

Five players, including defending champion Hunter Mahan, are tied for third place at 12-under par.  Also in the group, Vijay SIngh, Tommy Armour III, Kenny Perry and Kevin Streelman, who followed a second round 63 with a 62 on Saturday.

Chad Campbell and D. J. Trahan shot 62s to move up from 54th place to eighth, four shots back from Cink.
