Dina Ammaccapane fought off the course and the weather to shoot back-to-back 69s and take a one-shot lead over four golfers heading into the weekend rounds.

Ammaccapane carded six birdies but made three bogeys in the second round. Janice Moodie, Katie Futcher, Wendy Ward and first round leader Erica Blasberg are all tied at five-under par. There is a second group of five that are at four-under after two rounds.

If the winds die down, Saturday could be a low scoring affair and the leaderboard may see some shifts as 18 players are within three shots of Ammaccapane. After two rounds, Paula Creamer is at even par, six shots back, and in need of a low round to have a shot at the title.
